Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG

This is a great option for beginners or those trying to fit in a quick run during lunch breaks. Located close to the Central Business District, this is a short 3km course that offers a welcomed leafy escape from the bustling city.

The Tan

A great track to test your skills on, this 3.8 km route has some stunning views and offers you a challenging incline to work up to on your journey. Just know that this incline is even more difficult for experienced runners, so pace yourself!

Albert Park Lake

A super-flat 4.9 km track for you to test your endurance on and not far from the centre of Melbourne. It has beautiful sights across the lake and distance markers every 500 metres, which is great to keep track of your progress. Not only that, but it hosts a 5 km run called Parkrun every Saturday at 8am.

The Melbourne Solar System Trail

This flat 5.9 km tracks from the Sun to Pluto means you can run your way through the galaxy. Each planet is accurately spaced apart and makes plentiful checkpoints of progress throughout your run.

Yarra Bend Park

A stunning 9.5 km track surrounds you with native bushland on the outskirts of Melbourne’s CBD, near the famous Yarra Trails. This track is excellent for all skill levels and is also great to take your furry friend along for a leashed jog.
