Hit the Ground Running with These Melbourne Tracks
Here are some tips for running and the best running tracks in Melbourne
Hit the ground running with some of the best running tracks in Melbourne. Running is a great way to stay fit or get in shape, and there’s no city in the world better equipped for somebody who wants to get involved as a runner.
Melbourne is blessed with great running tracks, like the Melbourne Solar System Trail, the Tan, and many more. To help you get started, we’ve assembled a list of some of the best running tracks in Melbourne and featured some important facts about starting to run that you should know.

Why go running in the first place?
There are countless benefits to this form of cardio – not only does it burn serious amounts of calories, but it also helps strengthen your joints, reduces your risk of heart disease, and does wonders for your core strength. And don’t forget that very real endorphin kick you’ll get after a good jog!
If you’re looking to start jogging around local tracks, there are a couple of things to investigate before you hit the ground running (we love puns). These include:
Start slow and learn to listen to your own body. Try not to think about pace while you’re on a run and instead focus on your effort, in the end, this can help you take minutes off your run, prevent injuries, and might help you enjoy it more.
Make sure you have comfortable and supportive shoes. Inappropriate footwear can result in many injuries that you’ll want to avoid.
Stay motivated and figure out a goal. Visit our physiotherapy clinic and have a chat with one of our friendly physiotherapist or podiatrists about your objectives. They can help you reach that goal and ensure you’re doing what’s best for your body at the same time.
